In Word or Deed

This verse widens the category beyond just your official job to every word and deed across your whole day — the meeting, the errand, the text message, the meal made for the family. All of it can be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, meaning under His authority and for His purposes, not compartmentalized into 'spiritual' tasks versus everything else. Try carrying this awareness through today: before each task, however small, silently offer it in His name, and notice how it changes your posture toward the mundane.
