"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
The waiting itself is where the renewal happens — not after it. That order matters when you're in a season with no visible movement: the job that hasn't opened, the healing that hasn't come, the relationship still unresolved. Isaiah doesn't say strength arrives once waiting ends. He says the waiting is the very posture that receives strength. Practically, that means your unanswered season is not wasted time. Something is being built in you even while nothing seems to be happening around you.
Lord, I'm tired of waiting without answers. Renew my strength even now, in the middle of the waiting itself. Amen.
