"The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
Some fears are not about the future at all — they're about falling. You imagine the ground giving way and no one catching you. Moses gives Israel this picture at the end of his life: not a floor beneath them, but arms. Arms don't just hold you up; they hold you close. Whatever you're afraid will collapse today — your plans, your health, your finances — you are not falling into a void. You are falling into a Father who has been catching His people for millennia.
Eternal God, when I feel the ground shifting, remind me that I am held. Let Your arms be more real to me than my fear. Amen.
