The Old Has Gone

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

You might still carry the label an old failure gave you, or the identity a hard season carved into how you see yourself. Paul insists that in Christ, that old identity isn't just improved — it's passed away, replaced. This is not a suggestion to try harder at being new; it's a declaration of a fact already accomplished at the cross. You are not who your worst day said you were. Today, practice believing the newer, truer label over the old, louder one.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for making me new. Help me live today from that identity, not from the old labels I keep repeating. Amen.
