"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Loneliness can distort even a room full of people into feeling empty, and it can make solitude feel like abandonment rather than rest. This promise doesn't erase your need for human connection — go seek it, it matters. But it does anchor something underneath that need: you are never, in any moment, actually alone in the ultimate sense. The presence of God is not dependent on your feelings registering it. Speak this promise out loud today, even if it feels distant, and let it slowly become more real than the silence around you.
Father, when I feel forgotten, remind me of Your promise never to leave. Let Your presence become more real to me than my loneliness. Amen.
