A Time for This

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."
— Ecclesiastes 3:1

This verse is often quoted for beautiful seasons, but Solomon wrote the whole poem to include planting and uprooting, weeping and laughing, keeping and losing. Your current season — whatever it is — is not a mistake outside of God's ordering, even the parts that feel wasted or wrong. That doesn't mean you have to like it. It means you can trust that this season, too, is under a wisdom bigger than your calendar. Ask God what this particular time is meant to teach or grow in you.

Prayer

Lord, I don't always understand this season, but I trust You over the timing. Teach me what this time is for. Amen.
