"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."
You can plan a project meticulously and still watch it unravel, or plan loosely and watch it flourish beyond expectation. This proverb doesn't promise your plans will always look exactly like you drew them. It promises that when you commit them — hand them over, hold them open-palmed — God establishes what needs establishing. Before your next meeting or deadline today, take thirty seconds to actually commit the work verbally to Him rather than just gritting through it alone.
Lord, I commit today's work into Your hands. Establish what needs to stand and release what needs to fall away. Amen.
