"Be still, and know that I am God."
Stillness is not absence. It is the practiced posture of trust — a quieting of our defenses so we can hear the One who is already speaking. Today, before the doing, sit. Before the asking, listen. He is God. He is here.
Holy Spirit, teach me the stillness that trusts. Let me know You not just as an idea but as a nearness. Amen.
